Southern Indiana REALTORS® Association is the 6th largest REALTOR®
association in Indiana serving Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Crawford,
Scott, Washington, and many other counties including Louisville and
surrounding Kentucky counties.
Why it Makes Sense to Use a Realtor®
REALTORS® are licensed real estate practitioners who maintain memberships in a local association of REALTORS®,
a state association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. As members of these organizations,
they are pledged to abide by a strict code of professional conduct. They also have access to a wide variety of business services
that are not available to non-REALTORS®. This gives them a competitive edge in the marketplace, enabling them to provide
superior services to buyers and sellers of real property.
Affiliate Memberships
SIRA Affiliate members
are individuals and firms who, while not in the real estate profession,
have interests that require information concerning real property and
support the objectives of the REALTORS® Association. These include
those in real estate law, mortgage lending, title work, inspection,
engineering, construction, or dozens of other support industries.
SIRA has over 40
affiliate companies which support our organization in many ways. If
you are doing business with an individual or firm that is not a member
of SIRA, please encourage them to join.
Many of the same
government regulations that inhibit your freedom to do business and
make a fair profit have a similar impact on affiliate members. Ask
your business partners to be a part of SIRA’s voice as an affiliate
member.
Rapattoni MLS
SIRA
operates a highly sophisticated web-based
multiple listing service for its members. It is the primary means
by which real property is listed for sale in Southern Indiana and surrounding
areas. Limited access to the MLS is available to the
public to allow the inventory of properties for sale to be searched.
It is possible to be a part of a strong, unified effort to shape
public policy at the local, state and national levels. Affiliate
members are also recipients of mailouts, broadcast faxes & e-mails,
and communications which are generated from SIRA. Affiliates are also
welcome to attend and participate in SIRA events such as our quarterly
meetings, Annual Affiliate Forum, REALTOR®-of-the-Year Luncheon and
Installation of Officers.
